What to check before calling
- ✓Clean the drain filter at the bottom of the tub.
- ✓Check the garbage disposal knockout plug if the dishwasher was recently installed alongside a new disposal.
- ✓Clean the filter at the bottom of the tub and check for debris in the sump.
- ✓Check the drain hose for kinks under the sink.

If the filter and hose are clear, the drain pump is likely failing.
