The oven's control found a problem with the temperature sensor or the control board. The oven may not heat or may shut itself off.
What to check before calling
- ✓Power-cycle the range at the breaker for 1 minute.
- ✓If the code returns right away, avoid using the oven until it's inspected — F codes often mean a stuck relay.
- ✓Switch the oven off at the breaker for a minute to reset the control.
- ✓Check whether the code returns when you start a bake.

If the code returns, the sensor or board needs testing.
